Me & Rusty's 1st Anniversary!

Rusty and I keep pinching ourselves, shaking our heads and saying over and over again; we can't believe we've been married one year already! It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating our big day with all our friends and family.

One year ago today (April 1st, 2006)

The happy, happy couple!

We were very busy most of the summer building our dream home in our secret meadow.

It’s amazing how much space one of these deluxe dog houses have

when you get inside!

Rusty did almost all of the construction by himself except for a little help from a local Beaver family. Isn’t that beautiful stonework on the fireplace? Rusty hauled each stone lovingly up from the stream nearby. As you can see, I was in charge of decorations, hee, hee.

We are currently on our 2nd honeymoon in Two Harbors, MN just north of Duluth on beautiful Lake Superior.

Rusty and me have had sooo much fun this year and shared many wonderful moments with all our friends from all over the world!
We wish each and every one of you the love and joy that we have found!

I've Missed You ALL Sooo Much!!!

To all my dear pals,

I am sooo sorry I have been away for sooo long!! Momma's been sooo busy and without thumbs it's just not possible for me to work the 'puter all by myself. I wonder why God decided not to give us thumbs. I guess he didn't know that one day we would all be 'puter literate or more likely he KNEW we would be constantly raiding the fridge!

Here's a video Momma made while she was away taking care of my two nieces Jaz & Star. My auntie Joal & uncle Frank went to Puerto Vallarta and Momma went to their house, but I can't go along, because I'm too possessive of Momma.

I've been tagged by Simba to think of 5 New Year's Resolutions and then tag 5 of my friends.

So, after much thought here are my New Year's resolutions:

1. Not to eat as many frozen poopsilces, because this seems to really bother Momma.
2. Eat more BEEF!
3. Try my hardest not to hog all of the bed.
4. Catch more chipmunks and sparrows than I did last year!

& last but not least...

5. Be the best dachsie I can be at all times and not just when it's in my best interest.

Too Much Fun!

I'm sooo sorry I haven't been on since Christmas, but this holiday stuff is sooo much fun and very tiring too! Go here and there and everywhere you go you get to eat, WOO-HOO! I've had sooo much food and I don't know where it's all gone to, because Momma says I didn't gain an ounce, thank doG, because I sure don't want to ruin my girlish figure! I hope everyone is having a wonderful new year so far and that you all get all you wish for in 2007. I've been tagged by Simba to share my list of resolutions, but I told Momma I'm gonna have to think real hard on that, because I don't want to make promises I can't keep, so I will think about it today and post them tomorrow. I have really, really, really missed you all and can't wait to get caught back up on what you've all been up to!!!

Here's a little video Momma took of me playing with a Little Devil treat hider that Grandma & Grandpa got for me. As you can see I'm not used to working for my treats and in the end Momma took it out and just gave it to me!
